 Tom Pendas - Broker
First, I would like to offer a little insight on myself as the Team Leader, Licensed Real Estate Broker and REALTOR®. I guess one can say that real estate was in my blood from birth. I was born in Cuba into an educated family with significant real estate and construction interests. Though I was too young to remember much, my parents immigrated to the United States to protect us from Fidel Castro's totalitarian revolution, which stripped millions of their civil and economic liberties. As a result, my parents raised my brother and I in the United States with a strong commitment to independence, education and self sacrifice as means of advancement in spite of the many challenges we would faces along the way. I started my real estate career early at eighteen years of age as a general real estate salesperson for the largest real estate brokerage firm in Florida and then as project manager for a developer while studying at the University of Florida. This unique opportunity enabled me to broaden and enhance my educational experience with the real world practical lessons acquired through selling and building hundreds of mid-price villas and luxury townhouses across five distinct projects in the Gainesville area. After graduating with honors and obtaining degrees in Finance, Marketing and Real Estate; I took my career to the next level with a position marketing Central Florida properties worldwide. Here, I developed relationships and an understanding of international buyers and cooperating real estate brokers as I implemented our sales programs throughout the Americas, Europe and East Asia. Next, I took my experience and personal financial resources and became an entrepreneur as president and co-founder of our own diversified real estate brokerage and construction firm with longtime best friend and architect. We built one of the largest and fastest growing custom building firms operating in three Central Florida counties with real estate brokerage and mortgage financing divisions. Eight years later after a tragic personal loss; I could not focus on my business and chose to relocate in order to move on with my life. I started over again with vigor in South Florida when I was hired by a startup independent real estate brokerage firm as Director of Sales and Marketing. Within four years we grew the company from a single office to the second largest real estate brokerage firm in South Florida with over a dozen offices and hundreds of agents throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties. During this time we also branched out with successful mortgage financing, title and real estate advertising and marketing business units. When the parent company was sold, the corporate direction changed and key management went our separate ways. Once again, I set out as an entrepreneur and founded Global Properties and its affiliate construction and mortgage sister companies. I now employ my diversified experience and resources to provide a more personalized service to a select clientele. I consider myself very fortunate to have the expertise which enables me to make such a long term positive impact on people's lives in the fields of endeavor I so immensely enjoy. Today, I have a dedicated supportive wife, two wonderful young sons and am able to incorporate my lifelong love of flying into my business.  Juan Bernal - Real Estate Assistant
Juan Bernal contributes to our team nearly two decades of experience buying, refurbishing and reselling residential property in South Florida. Like other members of our team, Juan developed his interest in the real estate business from his father; who is an active investor and redeveloper in his native Colombia. In addition to working with U.S. and Latin American buyers, Juan has cultivated marketing programs to introduce South Florida investment opportunities to the Asian market.
 Abraham Guerrero - Marketing Creative Director
Abraham brings to our team a wealth of experience and talents spanning the areas of graphic arts, photography and architectural design. His artistic abilities enable us to craft clean eye popping collateral materials that help accentuate a property's most sellable qualities to better service our clients' marketing needs.
His formal education includes a Bachelor's in Architectural Design with additional formal training in Digital Preprinting, Publicity and Marketing.
 Juan Espinal - Construction Project Manager
Juan is one of the most diversely talented and committed members of our team. Very independent and self motivated, as a teenager Juan joined the military becoming a member of the elite Special Forces participating in drug interdiction and training of multi-national forces throughout Latin America.
In civilian life, Juan's leadership skills and get-the-job-done attitude has served our team well in the very tough South Florida construction industry. Learning the construction business from the bottom-up Juan now runs both residential and commercial projects with a focus on completing them on time and within budget without compromising specified quality. And like most of us, Juan also performs multi-duties. When not on a construction project he is busy using his commercial helicopter pilot rating to fly photo or property preview missions.
 Diane Aguilera - Transaction - Business Manager
Diane is our unsung heroine working behind the scenes. Her organizational skills, calm demeanor and patience enable her to manage deals; keeping in check the many potential pitfalls associated with a real estate transaction.
She cultivated her insight into South Florida's real estate industry from a young age having grown-up in a family of entrepreneurs and real estate investors. Now with a master's degree from the University of Miami and some eighteen years of practical experience she is an invaluable asset to the team and our clients.
 Warren Dorning - Helicopter Pilot and Aerial Photographer
An accomplished commercial helicopter pilot and certified flight instructor, Warren masterfully controls a helicopter with ease during both our highly demanding photo flights and our more leisurely paced property preview tours. Originally from South Africa, Warren is an even keeled individual who is equally adept at the controls of a helicopter or a large power boat.
As you might have gathered, Warren is a true adventurer with recreational interests spanning tri-athlete competition, motocross, mountain biking, sailing, adventure racing, scuba diving, kite boarding and of course photography.
